The non-work stuff:

I grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska and have slowly made my way up and down the coast and through the west to land here in Oregon. I love mountains, aspen trees, crunchy snow, and the quiet of the woods.

I was a collegiate volleyball athlete and continue to love athletics to this day. I’m a big proponent for equality within athletics, eating enough to support training, and for positive food/body talk in athletics.

My favorite foods include: raspberries, crusty bread with butter, anything with chocolate, strawberries, roasted asparagus, all varieties of pasta + seafood, chocolate chip cookies and kombucha. I genuinely love food.

When I’m not working, you might find me reading a book, being a beginner at mountain biking, hiking, swimming (floating?) in nearby lakes, scoping out new food in town, or wrangling my poorly behaved dog/daughter Mia.
