Q: What is Intuitive Eating?
Intuitive Eating is a self-care framework based off 10 evidence-based principles. It is a non-diet approach that will help you break the cycle of dieting, and nurture a healthier relationship with food and your body.
Q: Will I lose weight with Intuitive Eating?
While the desire to lose weight is a normal response to the environment we live in, weight loss must be put on the back burner during this process. We can absolutely discuss weight concerns, but I won’t be asking you to step on a scale, and your weight will not be an indicator of your success. That said, with Intuitive Eating, you may lose weight, you may stay the same, or you may gain weight. Over time, your weight will likely regulate, at your natural set point weight.
Q: How long will it take before I’m an Intuitive Eater?
I’m not sure! This process takes a lot of introspection, hard work, and it can take awhile to unlearn diet culture beliefs. Every person is different.
Q: What type of sessions or packages do you offer?
A: I offer three service options. A 3-session package designed for sports nutrition and digestive disorders, and both a three and a six month package for Intuitive Eating work.
Q: How does this process work?
A: Great question! You can start by filling out the contact form for your free 30 minute discovery call. Once we decide we are a good fit, there will be a 75-minute initial consultation. Following that consultation, depending on your package decision, we will continue to have 45-minute follow-up visits.
Q: How much does it cost to work with you?
A: Prices are variable, based upon your needs and the package you choose. If you have questions about pricing, contact me here!
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes! Ask about this in our discovery call.
Q: What if I purchase a package and then decide I no longer want to do this program? Do you offer refunds?
A: I offer refunds in the case of emergencies only. If you decide you no longer want to work together, unfortunately I do not offer refunds.
Q: I don’t live in Salt Lake City, can I still work with you?
A: Sure can! I work with clients virtually, either via video conference or phone call. Please note, due to legal reasons, I cannot accept clients outside of the US.
